About ExplainMeToMe

We exist because most people
never get a clear answer
about what is actually driving their life.

Therapy costs hundreds of dollars a session.
Books give general answers that rarely fit your specific situation.
We built something different.

We are a registered nonprofit in the United States.
Not a company. Not a product built to profit from your pain.
A service built to make real self-understanding accessible to everyone.

How this works

A real expert reads your case.
And tells you what is actually going on.

You share your situation through a private guided conversation. A real human expert — with years of experience in behavioral science and psychology — reads what you shared and writes a personal response built entirely around you.

Not a category. Not a template. Not an algorithm. A person who has seen this kind of pain before, who knows where to look, and who takes your case seriously.

Built from over 50 years of combined expertise
in behavioral science, psychology, and pattern recognition. Real specialists. Real credentials. Real responses — written by a human being who read what you shared.
Your privacy

Privacy goes
both ways.

ExplainMeToMe sits between you and the expert. The expert assigned to your case reads what you shared — but never sees your name, email, or any contact details.

From our side, nothing you share is published and nothing is shared outside your case. No full name required. Your response is delivered privately to your inbox.

What you share stays inside your case.
The expert sees your situation — not who you are.
Not a promise. The architecture.
The experts

Real specialists.
Real experience with this kind of pain.

Every case is assigned to the expert whose background most closely matches what you are going through. You will know their credentials and area of expertise when your response arrives.

These are working analysts — not contributors to a system. A real person reads your case. A real person writes your response.

Dr. Elena Mercer
Head of Behavioral Methodology
Amsterdam, Netherlands

Elena leads behavioral methodology — setting the standards every expert operates from when reading a case. Her focus: what the person actually said, not what is assumed.

PhD in Behavioral Science  ·  MSc in Counseling Psychology  ·  12+ years in qualitative research and behavioral analysis
Maya Linford
Senior Identity Analyst
Toronto, Canada

Maya specialises in identity — the gap between who a person has learned to be and who they actually are. She reads the cases where that tension is at the centre of the pain.

MA in Counseling Psychology  ·  BA in Psychology  ·  8+ years in identity-focused qualitative analysis
Daniel Rivas
Senior Behavioral Pattern Analyst
Madrid, Spain

Daniel's focus is repetition — the hidden patterns that keep people returning to the same place despite wanting change. He reads the cases where effort alone is clearly not the issue.

MSc in Behavioral Science  ·  Postgraduate training in behavior change  ·  9+ years in behavioral pattern analysis
Leila Hassan
Senior Stress & Relational Dynamics Analyst
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Leila reads what quietly drains people — the patterns of depletion that rest alone cannot fix and that often go unnoticed for years. She specialises in cases where exhaustion is the presenting pattern.

MSc in Health Psychology  ·  Trauma-informed training  ·  8+ years in psychosocial stress analysis
Dr. Priya Nair
Licensed Clinical Safety Advisor
Boston, United States

Priya oversees clinical safety — determining when a situation falls outside what this service should handle and ensuring every case is read with appropriate care.

PhD in Clinical Psychology  ·  Licensed Psychologist  ·  10+ years in risk review and mental health triage
Samuel Reed
Quality Standards Architect
Melbourne, Australia

Samuel defines what a strong response looks like versus a weak one. His standards make the difference between something genuinely specific and something that could fit anyone.

MA in Applied Psychology  ·  10+ years in behavioral editorial quality  ·  Specialist in long-form analytical writing
Nina Kovacs
Privacy & Confidentiality Architect
Berlin, Germany

Nina designed the privacy architecture that ensures your identity is never visible to the expert who reads your case. Not a policy. A structural foundation.

CIPP/E  ·  CIPM  ·  9+ years in privacy governance and confidential-data operations
How the money works

Transparent about
what your payment does.

We are a nonprofit. We do not exist to profit from what you are going through.

Your payment covers what it costs to run this service — the expert fee, platform infrastructure, and advertising. Most people who need this do not know it exists yet. We have to reach them first.

Whatever remains after every cost is covered is donated to organisations around the world working on mental health access and human psychology.

You are not funding profit. You are funding access — and helping this reach the next person who needs it.
What this is not

A few things
worth saying clearly.

Not therapy

Not a clinical service. Not a substitute for professional support. If you are in crisis, please seek that first.

Not a personality type

Not a category. Not a label. An expert finds what is specifically true about you — one person, one case, one response.

Not coaching

We are not here to tell you what to do. We show you what is true. What you do with that is yours.

Not generic advice

Your response is written for your specific situation. A real expert reads what you shared — and responds to that, not to a category.
